The Lamplighter Campground In Revelstoke BC
If your plans have you driving on Highway 1 in southeastern British Columbia, then you simply must make a point of stopping and Camping in Revelstoke. Bordering two Canadian National Parks, the picturesque town of Revelstoke is an outdoor paradise and has some of the most gorgeous scenery you will come upon in the Province of British Columbia.
Located along the beautiful Columbia River, Revelstoke is an ideal camping destination to stop and spend some time.
Camping For Everyone At The Lamplighter Campground
The campground is ideally located in the city, yet situated on a wonderful park like setting that’s perfect for all types of campers. The park has beautifully treed and grass tent sites that include fire pits and picnic tables. There’s even a camp kitchen for the rustic camper.
For those traveling with the largest of Recreational Vehicles, there’s nice level pull – thru sites as well. The campsites are all treed and grassed making for a more park like camping experience, yet with all the facilities one would expect in a full service RV Park and Campground.
Your Campground Hosts Hedi and Andy have owned the park since 1997 arriving from Switzerland, and when you enter the campground it’s easy to see that there has been a great deal of labor of love put into their property over the years.
For those of you visiting from abroad, your hosts are also fluent in German for your added convenience. They are always available to assist in any way they can to help make your stay and holiday an enjoyable and memorable experience.

The Lamplighter Park is in a perfect location right in town and beside the Columbia River Bridge, and easy walking distance to downtown Revelstoke for shopping, restaurants and much more!
Revelstoke is located in the southeastern part of the Province of BC and the city is ideally located for travelers heading in either direction on the Trans – Canada Highway. It is 641 kilometres (398 mi) east of Vancouver and 415 kilometers (258 mi) west of Calgary, Alberta.
