Salish Seaside RV Haven In Victoria, British Columbia
Table of Contents
The recently constructed Salish Seaside RV Haven Waterfront RV Park is located minutes from downtown Victoria, BC. This full facility Recreational Vehicle Park is indeed a hidden gem and is also the only one that is in the heart of the city.
This first class RV Park is proudly owned and operated by the Songhees and Esquimalt First Nations people.
Located along the shores of Victoria’s beautiful Inner Harbour and an easy walk along the very popular waterfront walkway to and from Salish Seaside RV Haven.
Easy Access To Downtown Victoria’s Popular Attractions
Salish Seaside is situated directly across from Victoria’s downtown main popular tourist section. The Park is located right alongside Westbay Marina, where you can hop on to one of the very popular
🛥 Victoria Water Taxis.
Within minutes, you can stop at a number of the cities most popular tourist attractions within the Inner Harbour.
If you prefer to enjoy a scenic waterfront walk, access to Esquimalt’s West Bay Walkway is right at your doorstep.
West Bay Walkway
The West Bay Walkway is a walking path and boardwalk that connects the Municipality of Esquimalt to downtown Victoria’s Johnston Street Bridge. This very scenic waterfront walkway is about 5 kilometers in total length.
This is a very popular shoreline route great for running, walking, and for getting back and forth on foot from Salish RV Park. Be aware that cycling is not permitted on the walkway at any time.
So as soon as you arrive, there’s no need to move your rig for the duration of your stay!
Facilities At Salish Seaside RV Haven
This newly constructed park consists of only 36 full hook-up pads, with many being able to accommodate the largest of Class A motor homes.
Pads sites come with 30 & 50 amp power, complimentary wifi, and a lovely new amenities building including; modern washrooms with showers, laundry room and a 2 story Clubhouse with ocean view deck and a fireplace.
Salish Is A Pet Friendly RV Park
Pets are always welcome at the park, as long as you abide by their rules in place. These are just common sense rules as required in most other RV Parks. Keeping your pet on a leash at all times, cleaning up after them and control of barking.
Just outside the park is a residential area, with plenty of places to walk your pet. The West Bay Walkway is a perfect place to walk, along with a small off leash park located adjacent to the Marina.
Tours & Attractions Just Minutes Away
As mentioned, many of Victoria’s major tours and attractions are just minutes away, with many of them offering free pick up and drop of service.
On our last visit to the city for example, we booked a whale watching tour with
🐳 Orca Spirit Whale Watching Tours. They offered a free shuttle bus service to and from the Salish Seaside RV Haven, which worked out great!
